Case Tabarani was in the 19th century the Masseria a fief baronial extended several hundreds of hectares. From oral history, from stock research and analysis of characteristics can be identified three phases in the evolution of the building and the cultivations.
First stage, around the middle of the nineteenth century: cereal production, planting of olive groves and construction of two houses, one will likely dwelling (South) and the other at warehouse (North side, flooring with local stone paved of large size). The first remains as a separate body.
Second phase: increment of olive oil production and construction of baglio with the South side and the West side and the cant on the West Wing (trappeto and crusher in the West Wing, 1886; stores and services in the South Wing).
Third stage: farming and cheese production (South side warehouse adapted to the care of cheeses, construction of feeders in the West Wing) and abandonment (mid 1900s) of on-site pressing of the olives.
